Sentier De Kaweechelchers pad

The squirrel trail runs along the north and west slopes of the “brucherbierg” of Schifflange.

The 1.5 km walk (3 km round trip) takes place on the edge of the forest and invites children to follow the squirrel which offers 16 educational panels.

Children discover the plants and animals of the edge, the water cycle, the oxygen production made by the forest and much more.

The advantages for children:

– A playground in the middle of the trail.
– Accessible by stroller and bicycle.

The starting point is at the end of the “chemin vert” street in Schifflange and ends in the rue du parc in Schifflange.

There is no markup for this walk.

Parking seems easier on the rue du parc.

Indeed, several parking spaces are available around the stadium.

It is possible to park for 2 hours with a disc.

Unfortunately there is no Picnic space on this walk,

but you can rest on benches along the trail.
