Track CFL Belvaux - Belval

The walk begins in front of the Belval blast furnaces.

Belval is a former industrial site in full conversion.

You discover the site by passing in front of the blast furnace A, now transformed into a museum, then you pass by the city of
science between new buildings and vestiges of the past.

You leave Belval via the “Wassertrap” passage which runs alongside the new “Park Um Belval” and the “KannerKampus”.

Going up to the “Pakebierg” you will have a magnificent panorama of the old industrial site.

The advantages for children:

– Pass by the impressive blast furnace chimney.
– Observe the fish in the Belval basins.
– The beautiful playground at the Kannercampus Belval.

Departures and arrivals are either at CFL Belvaux-Soleuvre train station or at CFL Belval-Université train station.

The markup is two-way.

Marking of the hike:

The ideal is to come directly by train. However, it is possible to park in the Belvaux station car park (free) or on the Belval P + R (paid)

There is no picnic spot, but you will find many benches along the walk.

On the university square there are tables and
chairs for a break.

The “Park um Belval” is a beautiful place to relax.
