It is at the Luxembourg City Tourist Office that you can receive the map as well as the enigmas for the visit of Luxembourg-city in the company of Count Sigefroi and the mermaid
Melusine. (It is also possible to download the map from the city’s website, see link above.)
The walk begins at Place Guillaume II with the valiant Count Sigefroi who
takes you to the discovery of the city.
The treasure hunt leads to places
must-sees in Luxembourg such as:
- the Grand Ducal Palace
- the Notre-Dame de Luxembourg cathedral
- the Bock rock
passing through emblematic places such as Place de Clairefontaine or Place de la Constitution.
Along the route, the mermaid Mélusine and Count Sigefroi tell the children about the history of the city.
By answering the riddles, at the end of the visit, children will have an access code to the safe present at the Luxembourg City Tourist Office. A surprise awaits the children!
